Our Story

Whispering Pines Reindeer Ranch & Christmas Tree Farm was founded in September 2018 by the Espe Family!  We are located just 3 miles south of Shabbona & just 1 mile west of the Shabbona Lake State Park! We are currently in the process of putting all the puzzle pieces together in this new family adventure! Follow us on Facebook & Instagram to follow our journey!

We have planted 7 varieties of trees over the past two springs that are growing & maturing everyday! We spent the summer working on fencing, watering systems, & shelters for our new friends! We welcomed 4 Reindeer all the way from Alaska in October 2018 as well as Thor in December ! We then added 2 females & 1 males in August of 2019!
